A lease on 2600 sqm of space at MLP Pruszków II has been agreed to by the global logistics operator. Most of the space will be used for GDP pharmaceutical storage. Delivery of the finished unit has been scheduled for early next year. The transaction was completed through JLL, a real estate advisory firm.

GEODIS in Poland has leased a total of about 2.600 sqm of space available at the MLP Pruszków II logistics park. A little over 2.400 sqm will serve as GDP storage space. The office space, featuring large sections of glazing, will take up another 170 sqm. Construction of the new unit is well under way, with EastWave acting as the general contractor. The finished building is expected to be delivered for occupancy early next year. The lease was brokered by JLL, a real estate advisory firm.

“To match the growing needs of the demanding market for pharmaceutical and biotech products in Poland, GEODIS decided to invest in a GDP storage facility in Pruszkow close to Warsaw. “It is an excellent base for serving hospitals, clinics, doctors’ surgeries and patients with different types of medicine, some of them requiring to be stored and shipped within a range of 2-8 degrees Celsius. From Pruszkow we will also handle temperature-controlled air and sea freight shipments for our clients to destinations worldwide,” said Thomas Kraus, President & CEO of GEODIS North, East and Central Europe.
