MAKRO invests in unique warehouses in key locations tailormade to address the HoReCa sector’s needs. The first warehouse will be built in cooperation with the MLP Group in “We are developing a multi-channel model by combining food service distribution and the cash & carry adapted to local market needs – remarks Eric Poirier, CEO of MAKRO.
The first facility will be built in the vicinity of Warsaw on the premises of the MLP Pruszków II logistics park. Its area will be 10,100 square meters. This facility will be equipped with the most modern technological solutions, including a CO2 refrigeration system to ensure low energy consumption and a high level of natural environmentprotection. The delivery of the finished warehouse is slated for Q1 2017.
