Siemens moves into MLP Wrocław

Siemens has taken over about 4,000 sqm of modern space at the MLP Wrocław logistics park. The new tenant will use the space to manufacture high-quality control cabinets, creating 150 new jobs.

Siemens Polska has leased about 4,000 sqm of modern warehouse space at MLP Wrocław, of which 3,200 sqm will be used for production and warehouse purposes, and approximately 700 sqm will be office space. The facility has already been handed over to the tenant.

Siemens will manufacture high-quality control cabinets for the automotive and machinery industries on the property leased from MLP Group. The cabinets will be equipped with numerical control systems, drives and other components made by Siemens. Production will be launched in stages.

The control cabinets manufactured in Poland will be sold mainly to business customers in Poland and Germany, with smaller batches marketed in the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland and northern Italy. The plant will provide jobs for almost 150 people.

“The fact that a major investor is opening a manufacturing plant in Poland attests to the strength and potential of the Polish warehouse market. Robust results reported by the sector in terms of growing demand and supply are the combined effect of Poland’s excellent location in the heart of Europe, improving infrastructure, and wide availability of modern class A warehouse space. Our client also considered the availability of workforce on the local labour market, as well as proximity to the centre of Wrocław. Against these criteria, MLP proved to be an excellent investment option,” said Konrad Lewiński, Senior Consultant JLL.
