Savpol signs up to join the tenants of MLP Pruszków I
The Polish company providing services for the bakery, confectionery and ice-cream industries, as well as the horeca sector has leased close to 3,000 sqm of warehouse space in MLP Pruszków I. The tenant was assisted in the transaction by MAXON Nieruchomości.

Savpol will occupy approximately 3,000 sqm in MLP Pruszków I, including around 2,600 sqm of warehouse space and 400 sqm of office and social premises. The building featuring customized solutions is scheduled for delivery in Q2 2022.

Savpol has close to 30 years of experience in delivering carefully selected, highest quality ingredients, products and equipment in the Polish and European markets. It provides services for the bakery, confectionery and ice-cream industries, as well as the horeca sector.

Environmental care

“Our logistics centre MLP Pruszków I is impressive. It is attracting very strong interest from both current and potential tenants. Undoubtedly, its key strength lies in its location as whenever a unit is vacated, it is almost immediately leased. We are also gradually implementing innovative green solutions such as photovoltaic installations, an electric vehicle charging point, a city bike rental station and insect hotels. We care both about work comfort in our buildings and about the natural environment,” said Agnieszka Góźdź, Sales Director, MLP Group S.A.

“All our warehouse buildings in MLP Pruszków I are undergoing Breeam In-Use certification. According to preliminary estimates, our buildings will receive Good and Very Good ratings, which is confirmation that they meet the expectations of tenants in terms of comfort and sustainability. We expect to receive certificates in late July 2022,” added Agnieszka Góźdź.

MLP Group has filed applications for administrative permits to build an approximately 950 MV PV system on the rooftop of one of the buildings in MLP Pruszków I which will reduce demand for energy from the external power grid by around 13% and CO2 emissions by approximately 663 tonnes per year. MLP Pruszków I already features a 50 kWp system providing power to tenants. In addition, a photovoltaic pavement will be built at the entrance to the office of MLP GROUP S.A. in the next few days to supply power to illuminate MLP logos. It will be the first such solution in Poland.

A high standard for tenants

“Thanks to its investment in MLP Pruszków, Savpol will have a modern warehouse with dry, frozen and cold storage space. With our highly advanced solutions, we will be able to fully maintain the cold chain for our products and the glycol energy recovery technology will allow us to reduce our demand for power. All product ingredients – from the moment they are brought into our warehouse until they are handed over to our clients – will be stored at a controlled temperature. In MLP Pruszków we are arranging modern offices, meeting and training rooms for our clients, suppliers and employees,” said Bartosz Cisek, V-ce President of  Savpol.

 “We were looking for modern warehouse space in relative proximity to the existing warehouse of our client, who wanted to relocate before the high season. We hit the bullseye with the location of MLP Pruszków I. And our seamless cooperation with the developer allowed us to close the negotiations swiftly. We are confident that following its decision to lease logistics space in MLP Pruszków I the company is now well-positioned to grow at pace in the future,” said Paweł Rąbkowski, Director of Industrial and Logistics, MAXON Nieruchomości.

A perfect location

MLP Pruszków I is very popular among tenants of MLP Group’s logistics centres. It is conveniently located only 19 km from Warsaw and well-connected to other regions of Poland via expressways and motorways, making it attractive for companies from virtually all industries.

MLP Pruszków I has a combined area of close to 170,000 sqm of warehouse and manufacturing space leased to almost 40 tenants. In over 20 years of operation, it has grown to become a small town with its own internal infrastructure. The complex sits on a fenced site and offers round-the-clock security. It features electric and hybrid vehicle charging points powered solely by solar energy. Another on-site amenity is a city bike rental station. The park offers tenants multiple expansion opportunities and ample parking spaces.
