Olga Melihov will support MLP Group’s expansion in Romania
MLP Group, a leading developer active on the European warehouse property market, is strengthening its team in Romania. In September, Olga Melihov became Country Head Romania, responsible for developing new warehouse and logistics projects in that country.

Olga Melihov is an experienced manager with almost 20 years of experience in the commercial property sector in the CEE region. She has managed IB Consulting since 2007. During her career, she was employed at E-infra Romania, headed BNP Real Estate Romania as Country Manager, and also worked as International Development Manager at real estate developer Mayland Real Estate Poland, where she was in charge of the company’s development, communication and marketing activities in Poland and Romania. She is a graduate of the University of Bucharest and has completed the Real Estate Professional Executive Programme organised by Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management and the Polish Council of Shopping Centers. She has also completed an MBA programme at Tiffin University, US. She speaks native Romanian and fluent English, Russian and French.

In addition to the Polish, German and Austrian markets, MLP Group is active in Romania, where it is building a modern warehouse complex MLP Bucharest Park West. Its planned area is 99,000 sq m. The logistics centre is located in the main region of the country, just 15 km from the capital city and in close proximity to the A1 highway, which makes it very popular with tenants. More than 22,000 sq m of the space comprising Phase 1 of the project has already been completed and fully leased.
The next phases are in the pipeline.

Romania is one of the most promising warehouse space markets in Eastern Europe. The country with a population of 20 million currently has only about 6 million sq m of warehouse space. To compare, Poland, twice as populous, already has 25 million sq m of such space. The Romanian market has recovered from the pandemic shock and we are seeing there a strong increase in demand for warehouse space, especially from retail and e-commerce tenants. This is why we have decided to put Olga at the helm of our branch in this country. With her vast knowledge and experience she is perfectly familiar with the local business conditions and will be able to help us not only with the further commercialisation of MLP Bucharest Park West, but also with the implementation of new projects in the future,” said Radoslaw T. Krochta, President of the MLP Group Management Board.
