MLP Group commences speculative construction projects. The first facility containing 10,000 square meters of space will be built in Poznań
“The circumstances in the modern warehouse space industry are very robust. We perceive extensive demand among investors seeking attractive facilities and we expect this demand to expand steadily. That is why we have made the decision to launch the execution of speculative projects as we would like to have more finished space in our portfolio to be able to offer it to prospective tenants on a no-wait basis”, emphasizes Radosław T. Krochta, Chief Executive Officer and Vice-President of the Management Board of MLP GROUP S.A.
The MLP Group kicked off construction of 10,000 square meters of modern warehouse space in the MLP Poznań logistics park currently under development. This investment project does not have any pre-lease agreements, which makes it a speculative project. Project completion is slated for Q2 2016.
MLP Poznań park will have a total space of approximately 90.8 thousand sqm. The center has an excellent location in the village of Koninko, about 15 km from the Poznań city center. The facility is located just 4.5 km from an A2 highway exit and 1.5 km from the “11” expressway.
The Group’s real estate portfolio currently consists of four operating logistics parks located in Poland: MLP Pruszków I, MLP Pruszków II, MLP Poznań and MLP Lublin. Its fifth park, i.e. MLP Teresin is under construction. New projects under preparation include investments in the Wielkopolska, Upper and Lower Silesia and Central Poland regions, including in particular MLP Poznań West, MLP Poznań South, MLP Gliwice, MLP Łódź and MLP Wrocław. Taking these projects into account, the MLP Group’s target warehousing space will exceed 1 million square meters.
