MLP Group has started development of two projects for the owner of the Piotr i Paweł food supermarket chain. The first facility will be built in the MLP Poznań I logistics park and will have the area of approx. 7.4 thous. sqm., of which approx. 7 thous. sqm. will be slated for warehouses and approx. 0.4 thousand square meters for social and office purposes. A much bigger facility offering over 22 thous. sqm. will be developed in MLP Teresin. According to the schedule, both projects will be completed in August this year. In the same month the facilities will be delivered to the tenant. The general contractors of the projects are Bin in Poznań and Bremmer in Teresin.
Piotr i Paweł is already one of the MLP Group’s clients. Since early 2014 it has leased approx. 8.5 thous. sqm. of warehouse space in the MLP Poznań I park. In the MLP Teresin park, in turn, it already leases over 14 thous. sqm. of modern space. Upon completion of the new projects, Piotr i Paweł will have nearly 16 thous. sqm. in MLP Poznań I and over 36 thous. sqm. in MLP Teresin.
Piotr i Paweł chain comes from Poznań where it opened its first outlets in 1990. Currently Piotr i Paweł has 138 supermarkets throughout Poland, in each province, and is the only Polish supermarket chain of this size.
MLP Poznań I is located in Koninko, 16 km to the south east of Poznań city centre. The park is located next to the S11 expressway conecting Poznań with Katowice and about 4 km from the A2 motorway Poznań East junction. MLP Poznań I will be built on a 19ha plot and when completed shall comprise of 90,000sqm of warehouses and light industry buildings. The planned building may serve as a warehouse space or as a light production space.
MLP Teresin is a modern logistics center under construction and when completed will consist of 6 buildings, 140,000 sqm of warehouse and industrial spaces. MLP Teresin is located in the Old Gnatowice in the municipality of Kampinos, 45 km west from the Warsaw city center , near the nationalroute No 92 connecting Warsaw and Poznań and 20 kmfrom the A2 motorway and junction Wiskitki.
