A Matras Group member company has launched full operating activity in the MLP Pruszków II logistics park. According to the agreement concluded last year the MLP Group has delivered a total of 14,200 square meters, of which 13,500 square meters are designated for warehouse purposes and the remaining 700 plus square meters are designated for social and office purposes.
“In May of this year we made the preliminary delivery of the facility to the tenant. From that time, however, adaptation work has been conducted, among others to assemble a multiple-level mezzanine and outfit the warehouse. This investment has now been completed and the Matras Group may utilize the functionality offered by this facility to its fullest extent”, emphasizes Radosław T. Krochta, President of the Management Board of MLP GROUP S.A.
Matras is the leader on the book distribution market in Poland. Presently, it has more than 170 bookstores located in popular urban venues and shopping centers. It also offers on-line sales.
The MLP Pruszkow II logistics center is located in the vicinity of Warsaw, in the Brwinów municipality, 5 km from Pruszków. The park occupies a total of 67 hectares and will ultimately offer 302,000 square meters. MLP Pruszkow II has well-developed connections to both the Warsaw city center and the main roads connecting the capital with other cities. The park is located between the local road no. 760 and the A2 motorway section, 3 km from the Pruszków-Żbików traffic hub. An international railway track running in the proximity of the park offers excellent logistic conditions for both domestic and international distribution.
