Makita is another tenant at MLP Pruszków II

Makita, a distributor of electric motors and power tools, has leased more than 9,800 square meters of warehousing space at MLP Pruszków II. The new tenant will move into the MLP Group’s logistics park in mid-2017.

Makita has signed a new contract with the MLP Group to lease more than 9,800 square meters of modern space in the MLP Pruszków II logistics park. Out of this space, the company will use 8,600 square meters for warehousing purposes and the remaining 1,200 square meters for offices. Under the terms of the contract, the tenant will move into the facility in mid-2017 to use it as a local warehouse with repair and maintenance functions.

“In accordance with earlier announcements, the second half of this year is a very intense period for us in terms of commercialization of our facilities. The contract with Makita is another deal signed recently by the MLP Group. Our development strategy is focused on increasing the scale of our operations,” emphasizes Radosław T. Krochta, President of the Management Board of MLP GROUP S.A.

Makita Sp. z o.o. is a member of the Makita Corporation group specializing in the sale and repair of electric motors and power tools. The Polish branch, Makita Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Bielsko-Biała, was established in January 1995 as a distributor for Poland covering the entire country with a carefully selected network of dealers. More than 200 repair and maintenance shops ensure the good technical condition of Makita tools. In August 2009, Makita Poland moved to its newly built headquarters with a modern logistics center.

The MLP Pruszkow II logistics center is located in the vicinity of Warsaw, in the Brwinów municipality, 5 km from Pruszków. The park occupies a total of 67 hectares and will ultimately offer 302,000 square meters. MLP Pruszkow II has well-developed connections to both the Warsaw city center and the main roads connecting the capital with other cities. The park is located between the local road no. 760 and
the A2 motorway section, 3 km from the Pruszków-Żbików traffic hub. An international railway track running in the proximity of the park offers excellent logistic conditions for both domestic and international distribution.
