Hart Logistics to take up more space at MLP Poznań West
The Polish provider of logistics and freight forwarding services has ordered about 2,000 sqm of additional space at MLP Poznań West. Once this new space is delivered to the tenant in June next year, Hart Logistics will occupy a total of nearly 12,000 sqm. The adviser in the transaction was Profi Home, a consulting firm.

A little over a year on since it signed its first lease with MLP Group, Hart Logistics decided to order almost 2,000 sqm of additional space at the MLP Poznań West. The additional space is scheduled to be handed over to the tenant in June 2023. The transaction was brokered by Adam Kultys of the consulting firm Profi-Home.

Space already occupied by the tenant at MLP Poznań West is close to 10,000 sqm, used predominantly for warehousing purposes. The modern office occupies just over 100 sqm.

Hart Logistics specialises in the provision of road freight forwarding and logistics services supporting warehouse operations and e-commerce. It works with equal efficiency serving small, medium-sized and large enterprises, handling a wide range of both international and domestic orders.

We are very glad to see Hart Logistics expand its existing tenancy. MLP Poznań West is among the most popular logistics schemes within our portfolio. We provide our tenants with superb facilities, while deploying solutions designed to benefit the environment. All our newly constructed buildings are BREEAM certified. An added magnet for tenants is the centre’s excellent location in the immediate vicinity of the Poznań city area,” said Tomasz Pietrzak, Leasing Director Poland at MLP Group S.A.

The MLP Poznań West project incorporates a number of advanced solutions improving its environmental sustainability. These include rooftop solar PV systems, as well as heat pumps for heating both warehouse space and office buildings. The management of the logistics centre and monitoring of the facility systems are carried out using the Asset Information Model. This technology is used to enhance operational processes through integration with Building Management Systems (BMS). Its application is particularly important at facilities where production or other operational processes take place continuously, e.g. in buildings with controlled temperature conditions or within production areas. The centre has also been equipped with a smart entry control system reading vehicle number plates, which considerably facilitates and speeds up the flow of traffic on the premises.

Ultimately, MLP Poznań West will offer approximately 141,000 sqm of cutting-edge warehouse and office space covering an area of 29 ha. The height of newly built units will be raised to 11.5 m. The logistics centre is located on the western side of Poznań, near the S11 expressway, only 7 km from the A2 motorway junction. Its prime location makes the centre attractive to various businesses.

The contractor responsible for building the warehouses at MLP Poznań West is W.P.I.P., which is expert at building and equipping technologically advanced and sustainable industrial facilities with solutions meeting high environmental standards.
