Electromobility at MLP
MLP Group, a leading developer on the European warehouse property market in Poland, Germany and Romania, has just implemented another pro-environmental solution at the Pruszków logistics centre. For tenants and customers, MLPG has placed in service a dual charging station for electric and hybrid vehicles, using electricity from renewable sources.

The developer has for years been committed to sustainable development, seeking to deploy innovative solutions supporting its portfolio growth and management. One of its pro-environmental projects is the PV system installed on the roof of one of the warehouses at the Pruszków distribution centre. Environmental care and focus on efficiency have become routine in the developer’s operations. MLP Group primarily aims to reduce CO2 emissions, increase the share of green energy and, in the next few years, reduce the currently very high electricity prices. The next (after the PV panels) green project is the freshly installed and placed in service charging station for electric and hybrid vehicles at the MLP Pruszków I logistics park. The purely solar energy used for this purpose will reduce greenhouse gas emissions adversely affecting the ecosystem.

The use of photovoltaic systems in charging stations for electric vehicles is not only a good and cheap solution, but first of all it is a renewable energy source”, stressed Agnieszka Góźdź, Sales Director at MLP Group S.A. “As electromobility is becoming increasingly common in our daily lives, by using electricity from renewable sources we can enable our customers to charge electric vehicles with a guarantee of 100% green and exhaust free driving”, added Karolina Pokora-Malewska, PR Manager at MLP Group S.A.

The developer is steadily implementing environmental solutions at its parks, and all new projects carried out by MLPG receive the BREEAM certification, which places a strong focus on environmental measures. Green certificates significantly contribute to the attractiveness of the offer as they ensure efficient operation, which is of particular importance to companies with long-term contracts.

Thanks to the measures we are undertaking, we are contributing to reducing exhaust gas emissions. Photovoltaic systems are already commonplace at MLP Group, and more electric car charging stations will be installed at MLPG parks if it turns out that our tenants show significant interest in them. There is a growing expectation among existing and potential tenants that ecological standards be followed, while care for the environment and pro-environmental activities are already a standard on the warehouse property market,” concluded Agnieszka Góźdź, Sales Director at MLP Group S.A.
