MLP Group has concluded a notary agreement with the Czeladź Municipality on purchase of the city’s plot where the MLP Czeladź logistics park will be developed. The new facility will ultimately offer 71 thousand square meters of warehouse and production space, built on a 16.50 ha site. The investment project will be located in Czeladź, only 11 kilometers off Katowice. The site is located near the S86 express road. The distance to the Katowice airport is only 15 km and to central Warsaw less than 300 km.
“All our logistics parks are characterized by very good location. The same applies to the new MLP Czeladź project. Execution of this project will make it possible to expand our offering and thus strengthen our position in the very important warehousing region, in the Silesian Province. We are convinced that the offer of modern space in our new park will be well received by investors. This is confirmed by the first agreement already entered into with our future tenant, the MAKRO Cash & Carry Polska chain, for which we are preparing 8.6 thousand square meters in the park” – emphasized Radosław T. Krochta, President of the Management Board of MLP Group S.A.
The project will provide as many as 1,000 new jobs. From the perspective of Czeladź, this will be at the same time the second biggest business investment in the city’s history.
MLP Czeladź will be the eighth logistics park in MLP Group’s portfolio, the second one in the Silesian Province. Currently, the property portfolio of the MLP Group includes 7 logistics parks located in Poland: MLP Pruszków I, MLP Pruszków II, MLP Poznań, MLP Lublin, MLP Wrocław, MLP Gliwice and MLP Teresin. In addition to the project in Czeladź, there company also plans to launch a project in Łódź and another one in Poznań.
