The brand, owned by Złoty Melon, the company in which the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation holds 100% of shares, will use approximately 1,500 sq m of modern warehouse space.
Złoty Melon, owned by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, has signed a contract to lease approximately 1,500 sq m of modern warehouse space at the MLP Pruszków II logistics park. Approximately 1,200 sq m of that space will be used for warehousing purposes and the rest will serve as staff amenity and office space. The facility will serve as a distribution centre for SiemaShop,
an online store that sells merchandise, T-shirts designed by Jerzy Owsiak and music releases.
All profits from sales generated by the store are used to finance year-round medical and educational programmes for children, adolescents and the elderly.
The world-famous Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation has been operating for nearly 30 years. Its aim is to support health care by saving the lives of sick people, especially children, and working to improve their health, as well as to support health promotion and maintenance.
The best known form of the Foundation’s activity is the annual nationwide entertainment and media event with a charitable cause, called the Grand Finale Fundraiser. The money raised during the event is used to purchase equipment for children wards in hospitals throughout Poland, as well as to run medical and educational programmes.
“I am very happy we are starting cooperation with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation and hope that this is just the beginning of a long-term relationship. MLP Pruszków II enjoys great popularity among our existing and potential tenants. Its attractive location is certainly a great advantage in the facility selection process,” said Tomasz Pietrzak, Senior Leasing Manager at MLP Group S.A.
MLP Pruszków II is a logistics centre located in the municipality of Brwinów near Warsaw, five kilometres from of Pruszków. With a target leasable space of about 359,000 m2, it will be the region’s largest logistics complex. Thanks to its flexible ability to cater to individual tenant needs, the centre can meet the requirements of clients representing various industries. MLP Pruszków II has well-developed transport links with central Warsaw as well as the main arteries connecting the capital with other cities. The park is located between local road No. 760 and the A2 motorway, three kilometres from the junction in the Pruszków-Żbików area. The international railway lines located in the hub’s vicinity make for excellent logistics conditions both for domestic and international distribution.
