As at the end of June 2016, MLP Group, the developer of modern warehousing space recorded an increase in its investment property value to PLN 892 million. This is 5.5% more than at the end of the previous year. “The value of all our logistic parks increased in the first 6 months of this year. This means that the projects that we execute offer great locations and high standards, which has been recognized by independent experts. Because of the different locations and different prices of the Group’s investment properties, the yield rates accepted by experts for our individual logistic parks range from 7.25% to 8.50%” – said Radosław T. Krochta, President of the Management Board of MLP Group S.A. Also, at the end of June of this year, the net asset value (NAV) amounted to PLN 632.9 million and was similar to that in December of the previous year.
In H1 2016, the Group earned net profit of PLN 26.2 million and its consolidated revenues reached PLN 43.4 million. In H1 2016, the Group was carrying out investment projects with the total space of 61.6 thousand square meters. As at the end of June 2016, the MLP Group was leasing a total of 313.5 thousand square meters of commercial space to its customers. The total area of the MLP Group’s land bank in Poland is approx. 93.9 hectares.
“In the second half of the year, we intend to increase our activity in the area of commercialization of the parks significantly and will soon announce further agreements, which should contribute to a notable increase in the value of the assets that we are managing. In addition to the expansion of the existing facilities, we will launch new logistic parks in the vicinity of Wrocław and Gliwice. We should also launch a project in Łódź and another one in Upper Silesia, in Czeladź”, added Radosław T. Krochta.
At present, the property portfolio of the MLP Group includes five logistics parks located in Poland: MLP Pruszków I, MLP Pruszków II, MLP Poznań, MLP Lublin and MLP Teresin. New investment projects are prepared in the vicinity of Wrocław and Gliwice. There are also plans to launch projects in Łódź and another one in Upper Silesia. MLP Group’s target warehousing space is nearly 1 million square meters.
