MLP Group enters the Szczecin market with J.W. Construction Holding S.A.
As part of a joint venture established by MLP Group S.A. and J.W. Construction Holding S.A., the two companies are planning to build a new logistics center in Szczecin. The development project will be executed on a land plot owned by the J.W. Construction Holding. The MLP Group’s responsibilities will involve commercialization and management of the facilities. The MLP Szczecin logistics park is designed to ultimately cover approx. 60,000 square meters of warehousing area on a land plot of approx. 20 hectares.
“We have noticed a steady increase in demand for the lease of modern warehousing space in the Szczecin region. We want to respond to this demand by enriching our offering with facilities available on this relatively small but very promising warehousing market. We are absolutely convinced that the excellent transportation routes, availability of highly qualified workforce and the high standard of our warehousing facilities will attract tenants to the MLP Szczecin logistics park. The park’s location is especially attractive to manufacturing and logistic companies,” emphasized Radosław. T. Krochta, President of MLP Group S.A.
“It is our first development project executed jointly with the MLP Group. For the most part, our business consists of constructing residential facilities, but we are also active in the commercial segment of the real estate development market. I am sure that the impressive experience of our new business partner in the warehousing market will make this new logistics center development project in Szczecin a very successful one,” said Józef Wojciechowski, Chairman of the J.W. Construction Holding S.A. Supervisory Board.
The MLP Szczecin park will be located in the northern part of the city, in the Drzetowo-Grabowo district, just 4 km from the city center and approx. 18 km from the A6 motorway junction in Kołbaskowo near the Polish-German border, easily accessible by national road no. 13.
