SimpliCity Printing House has leased around 5,300 sqm of modern space in MLP Poznań West. Of that total, more than 4,700 sqm will be dedicated to production and warehousing and a social area within the warehouse, while close to 600 sqm will be office space. The building is under construction and scheduled for handover to the tenant in Q4 2022. The tenant was assisted in the transaction by real estate agency CBRE.
SimpliCity Printing House is a creative production house specializing in large format printing using modern machines.
The tenant’s building will be 11.5 metres in height and will be equipped with smoke vents to provide additional ventilation required for the type of its business activity. Electricity will be supplied by photovoltaic panels installed on the rooftop of the warehouse. The offices will feature a very modern design with large glass partitions permitting plenty of light.
To reach a zero-carbon footprint
“Our logistics centre MLP Poznań West is very popular and continues to attract new tenants from various sectors. We always do our best to deliver units tailored to their individual requirements. At the same time we deploy a range of modern solutions throughout the whole complex having a positive environmental impact. All this is aligned with our strategic objective of reaching a net-zero carbon footprint,” said Tomasz Pietrzak, Leasing Director Poland, MLP Group S.A.
In line with the developer’s strategy, MLP Poznań West, which is currently being extended, features modern eco-friendly solutions. Its rooftop array of PV panels will have a total capacity of 482 kWp and produce approximately 500 MWh of electricity annually. The ongoing management of the building and the monitoring of its systems are supported by the Asset Information Model, a technology that improves operational processes through integration with Building Management Systems. It is particularly important in buildings intended for continuous production or operations, for example in temperature-controlled warehouses or manufacturing facilities. The complex is currently undergoing BREEAM certification.
“We are pleased that we were able to assist Simplicity Printing House in choosing the most convenient solution for its new HQ location. It was also important that the facility should meet sustainability standards and provide high quality space for employees. We found all this in MLP Poznań West, which resulted in the lease signed by our client,” said Karolina Galas, Head of Poznań Office, CBRE.
