MLP Group has signed a general contractor agreement with Atlas Ward Polska. The expansion of the MLP Czeladź logistics park has been entrusted to an experienced and dynamically growing construction company which over the 20 years of its operations in the Polish market has completed 600 projects.
The project will deliver a facility with the surface area of approx. 10,000 m2. Out of this area, approx. 1,000 m2 will be adapted for the needs of production operations and 370 m2 will be earmarked for office space. The facility will satisfy the most stringent environmental standards. The new warehouse will also be built in accordance with the standards adopted by the MLP Group. This means that a class A structure will be built with a net height of 10 meters and a floor bearing capacity of 6T/m2. The facility will be fitted with modern equipment and accessories, including LED lighting, an ESFR sprinkler system, a gas-fired heating system, skylights and smoke vents.
Completion of the construction work is planned for May and delivery of the finished facility for June 2019.
Most of the facility has already been commercialized. Approx. 6,500 m2 of the space has been contracted by DS Smith, leading European packaging manufacturer. The remaining 3,500 m2 will be developed on speculative basis. “We are already at an advanced stage in the process of negotiating lease agreements with potential tenants. The high standard of the project and excellent location makes our lease offer very attractive. We are convinced that before completion of the construction the new facility will be fully commercialized” – says Piotr Krawczyk, BTS Project Manager at MLP Group S.A.
MLP Czeladź is a modern logistics center which after completion will offer 5 class A buildings with a total area of 74.2 thousand m2 of warehouse and production space.
