Smurfit Kappa Polska has signed an agreement with the MLP Group to lease nearly 6,500 square meters of space in the MLP Pruszków II logistics park. The total leased area will comprise of nearly 6,400 square meters of warehousing space and an additional 100 square meters of employee amenity and office space. The operation-ready facility is scheduled to be delivered to the new lessee in June 2019.
Smurfit Kappa is one of the world’s leading providers of paper-based packaging, with operations in 21 countries in Europe and 12 countries in the Americas.
“We have decided to establish cooperation with MLP, because we have been provided with a proposal satisfying our expectations in terms of both the location and the quality of service. Moreover, the terms of agreement we have worked out with our new counterparty are predicated on the principles of partnership owing to the accommodating and professional approach adopted by MLP,” emphasized Jacek Niewęgłowski, General Manager at the Warsaw and Pruszków Branches of Smurfit Kappa Polska.
“We are very happy to have attracted this new lessee. MLP Pruszków II is the region’s largest logistics park. Currently, approximately a third of the park’s target area has been leased. This means that we continue to have substantial potential for further development,” said Agnieszka Góźdź, Head of the Sales Department at MLP Group S.A.
The MLP Pruszków II logistics center is located in the vicinity of Warsaw, in the commune of Brwinów, 5 km from Pruszków. It is situated on a 72 ha plot of land to be used for warehouse space and light manufacturing with the park’s target space coming in at 285,000 square meters. Two access roads lead to this park. One of these roads is directly connected to the recently opened ring road around the village of Moszna.
MLP Pruszków II has well-developed road connections to the Warsaw city center and the main thoroughfares connecting the capital with other cities. The park is located between local road no. 760 and a section of the A2 motorway some 3 km from the Pruszków-Żbików traffic hub. There is also a Nextbike bicycle rental station in MLP Pruszków II. Employees also have convenient access as there is a bus stop located at the park. An international railway is located close to the park that offers excellent logistic conditions for domestic and international distribution.
