BEGA Logistik Polska, member of the furniture group BEGA Gruppe, is expanding rapidly at MLP Poznan West. It has just signed a contract to lease another warehouse, with an area of approximately 6,500 sq m. Once the facility is built and commissioned, HBZ Meble will have in total just over 33,000 sq m of space at its disposal. Of this, nearly 32,700 sq m will be used for warehousing purposes, while offices and amenity facilities will take up the remaining more than 370 sq m.
In line with the developer’s strategy, the new warehouse will meet BREEAM certification requirements, which will reduce its operating costs. The general contractor on the project is WPIP of Poznań, a company with extensive experience in warehouse construction.
BEGA Logistik Polska is part of Germany’s BEGA Gruppe, a furniture wholesaler. Established in 2002, BEGA Gruppe has become a leading player in the European market. It offers almost all types of furniture (for living rooms, children’s rooms and offices, kitchen furniture, tables, chairs, upholstered furniture, etc.), both ready-to-assemble and pre-assembled.

Satisfied with the existing cooperation, the tenant decided to acquire additional space within the same building. During the negotiation process, we focused on securing attractive financial terms, which was achieved thanks to the excellent relationship between the two companies and MLP’s flexible approach,” said Konrad Lewiński, Director at the Warehouse and Industrial Space Lease Department at JLL.
MLP Poznań West is a state-of-the-art distribution centre conveniently located on the western side of Poznań, at the S11 expressway and only 7 km from the A2 motorway and S11 junction. The centre focuses primarily on e-commerce, logistics, distribution and light industrial production companies. Ultimately, it will offer approximately over 140 thousand sq m of cutting-edge warehouse and office space. Selected buildings have been awarded the prestigious BREEAM certification.
