Logistics operator OL&D Poland, a new addition to MLP Wrocław’s tenant roster, is set to occupy approximately 4,300 sqm of cutting-edge space within Building C1.1. More than 4,100 sqm of that space will be used for warehousing purposes, while the remaining 200 sqm will serve as modern office and staff amenity space. The tenant was assisted by BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland in closing the transaction. The facility which houses OL&D Poland’s operations has recently achieved BREEAM New Construction Version 6.0 certification at the ‘Excellent’ level.
OL&D Poland provides a comprehensive range of services, including warehouse logistics, road and multimodal transport, as well as sea and air freight forwarding to clients in various industries such as home furnishings, children’s goods, energy, audio and acoustic systems, and industrial sectors.
‘We are excited to welcome a new tenant to our logistics centre. It brings us great joy to provide a facility equipped with the latest solutions that positively impact the environment. Our clients value the high standard and excellent location of the logistics centre. The facilities have been constructed in adherence to sustainability principles and are BREEAM certified, in line with our standard practice,’ said Agnieszka Góźdź, Member of the Management Board, Chief Development Officer at MLP Group S.A.
‘When deciding to lease new, twice as large, warehouse space in Wrocław, we considered the excellent location of the park for both road and public transport, ensuring our employees have various options to reach our distribution centre. The close proximity to partner courier companies was also a crucial factor. Our discussions with MLP were highly focused, and we appreciated their flexible approach and understanding of our expectations and requirements. This led to our decision to establish a long-term business relationship and lease space in MLP Wrocław,’ commented Adam Robak, Vice President of the Management Board and co-owner of OL&D Poland, on the transaction.
‘The client was very selective in choosing a warehouse. State-of-the-art projects developed within industrial parks located in convenient locations allow our clients to build competitive advantage. We are delighted that, as part of our advisory services, we can assist our clients in making these crucial strategic decisions. A long-standing relationship with a client and a deep understanding of their business strategy consistently yields positive results,’ noted Katarzyna Biela-Folmer, Senior Consultant of the Industrial and Logistics Department at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.
MLP Wrocław is a complex developed on a 13-hectare plot, comprising five warehouse units with a combined area of 65,782 sqm. Selected buildings have been awarded the prestigious BREEAM certification. The logistics park is located within the Psie Pole district in the north-eastern part of Wrocław, just 14 km from the city centre. A great convenience is the close proximity of national road E67 and express road S8 linking Wrocław with Warsaw.
